Three tied for first place after 'Dancing With the Stars' premiere

(CNN)"America's Next Top Model" winner Nyle DiMarco is completely deaf, which makes his steamy cha-cha on "Dancing With the Stars" on Monday night that much more impressive.
DiMarco, who blew away the crowd with his performance on the season 22 premiere, can't hear sound or even feel its vibrations.
"It's actually Peta," DiMarco signed, referring to his partner, professional dancer Peta Murgatroyd. "I follow her with my eyes."
DiMarco, ABC meteorologist Ginger Zee and Boyz II Men singer Wanya Morris all tied for first place with 23 out of 30 points from the judges in the two-hour premiere Monday night.
This season's reality dance competition features a mix of 12 athletes, singers, semi-famous actors and news people. The celebrities are paired with professional dancers, who teach their stars how to dance and choreograph the routines.
New mom Zee's delightful jive with pro partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy had judge Carrie Ann Inaba comparing her to season 21 winner Bindi Irwin, while usually stern chief judge Len Goodman called her "a ray of sunshine" on the dance floor.
Morris showed that he could cha-cha to one of his group's hits, "Motownphilly," with pro partner Lindsay Arnold. "You are a total twinkle toes on the dance floor," Inaba said.
Don't count out the NFL roster on the show, either. Pittsburgh Steelers player Antonio Brown and Denver Broncos player Von Miller tied for second place with 21 points.
"You're magic," Inaba told Brown, who was paired with pro Sharna Burgess and danced a complicated quickstep.
Of Miller and pro dancer Witney Carson and their foxtrot, Inaba said, "there's all kinds of good tonight."
Also tied for second place with 21 points: Marla Maples, ex-wife of Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump, and UFC fighter Paige VanZant, both of whom impressed the judges with their grace.
"I think you found your calling," judge Bruno Tonioli told Maples.
Former child stars Kim Fields ("Facts of Life") and Jodie Sweetin ("Full House") impressed the judges with their energy and power, scoring 20 points each. Sweetin played with her "Full House" and, now, "Fuller House" fame with pro partner Keo Motsepe.
Toward the bottom of the scale was retired football player and fan favorite Doug Flutie, who is paired with pro Karina Smirnoff; their foxtrot scored only 15 points. He will probably need viewer calls to stay in the competition.
"The O.C." star Mischa Barton seemed to lack energy in her routine and also scored 15 points. Fox correspondent Geraldo Rivera earned just 13 points, the lowest score of the night.
"Maybe you're gonna dance next week?" Tonioli said.
Each couple danced a cha-cha, foxtrot, jive, tango or quickstep in the first show, judged this season by ballroom expert Goodman and dancers/choreographers Inaba and Tonioli. They also competed for votes from viewers, although no couples were eliminated on week one of the competition.
After weeks of competition, one dance pair will win the Mirrorball trophy.
Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews host the competition on ABC.

Madonna exposes fan's breast onstage during concert

(CNN)For pop provocateur Madonna, it's no longer enough to flash some nudity. She's now exposing other people's body parts, too.
The singer startled audience members by inviting a 17-year-old fan onstage during her concert Thursday night in Brisbane, Australia, and then tugging down the teen's corset top to briefly reveal her left breast.
"She's the kind of girl you just want to slap on the a** -- and pull," Madonna told the crowd before exposing the young fan. "Sorry ... sexual harassment. You can do the same to me. Good luck."
In videos posted online, the teenager appeared unfazed by the wardrobe malfunction and hugged Madonna seconds later. Afterward, she told Australian media that the episode was no big deal to her: "It was, seriously, nothing. I didn't think of it until everyone totally freaked out about it."
But some observers criticized the incident.
"Madonna is in total meltdown. She needs to cancel this tour asap," said TV journalist Piers Morgan, a former CNN host, on Twitter.
Other Twitter users wondered how people would react if Madonna were a male performer, and questioned whether what the singer did was a criminal act.
The 57-year-old pop icon, who has long cultivated a brazenly sexual persona, has not commented on criticism of the incident.
It's the latest in a rash of erratic behavior by the Material Girl on her Rebel Heart tour, which wraps up Sunday in Sydney. She has begun concerts several hours late, spewed profanity onstage and made vulgar comments about ex-husband Guy Ritchie, with whom she is locked in a bitter battle over custody of their son Rocco, 15.
In recent months, the teen has been living in London with his father. Judging by some of Madonna's recent comments, being apart from her son has been hard for her.
"There's no love stronger than a mother for her son, and if I talk about him too much, I'm going to cry," the singer told the crowd this month during a concert in New Zealand, her voice cracking. "I hope he hears this somewhere and he knows how much I miss him."
The singer also posted a statement on Instagram this week in which she thanked a fan for his support, shot down speculation that she has been high or drunk while performing and accused her critics of sexism.
"Thanks for supporting me. Too bad people don't know the art of acting and playing a character. I could never do any of my shows high or drunk," she wrote.
"And yes underlying all of this is sexism and mysongony which proves that not only do we not get equal pay bUt we are still treated like heretics if we step out of line and think outside the box! . Sexism is alive and kicking but i am #livingforlove."

Joey Martin Feek remembered after funeral

On Saturday, her husband, who with her made up the country music duo of Joey + Rory, posted a blog about the service in which was laid to rest on their Tennessee farm.
"At the gravesite, Mike Glenn, our pastor in Tennessee, spoke of the better place that Joey's in and also of the better place that the world is because Joey was in it," Feek wrote. "And he told us how we can all have a service like hers when it comes our time to go, with just as many people loving us as loved Joey. All we have to do he said ... is live like she did."
Feek had documented his wife's illness, which began in 2014 with the diagnosis of cervical cancer soon after the birth of their daughter, Indiana, who has Down syndrome.
        Joey Martin Feek
Despite intensive treatment and surgery, the cancer spread to her colon, and in November 2015, the devout couple asked fans to pray for her healing and "God's will." The couple returned to her native Indiana during her illness, and it was there that she died. A service was also held for her in Alexandria, Indiana.
Feek's blog posting about his wife's service on their farm included photos of family and friends in attendance, her coffin being lowered into the ground and images of him and their daughter Indiana visiting her grave.
"And when most of the guests had gone and the sun was starting to fade, Indy and I took the short walk together into the back field to see her mama one more time," Feek wrote. "And we stayed awhile and talked with her. And then we took a deep breath and did what Joey would want us to do. We remembered that she's still with us. She'll always be with us. In our hearts. Forever."

Who is Tom Holland, the new Spider-Man?

          He's young.

Holland's just 19. The British actor won't turn 20 until June 1, in fact, almost a month after the May 6 opening of "Civil War."
But that's important: When Spider-Man returns to his own franchise, alter ego Peter Parker will be back in high school.

            He's experienced.

Despite being a teenager, Holland's already got several credits on his Internet Movie Database page, including such heavyweight offerings as "Wolf Hall," the award-winning miniseries based on Hilary Mantel's novels, and "In the Heart of the Sea," Ron Howard's 2015 film about the whaleship Essex, whose story became the root of Herman Melville's "Moby Dick."

            He's nimble.

Tights are an appropriate outfit for Holland. He first gained fame as Billy Elliot, the boy ballet dancer in the original London version of stage hit "Billy Elliot the Musical."
Will Spider-Man do a tour en l'air? It would be a Marvel.
